This is absolutely one of the best written, organized and illustrated books regarding style and uk music sub-culture from the 60's through the 90's. It so accurately describes the various nuances between each scene from Punk, Mod, Post punk to the more specific Postcard, Creation, Psychobilly, Suedehead, Baggy etc. etc.. With an inspiring illustrated guide in the back by Florence Bamberger (showing you the subtle details between looks) and the forward by Bobby Gillespie this book becomes and instant Must Have for any admirer of alternative fashion and music style. Pick this up with confidence, dig in with enthusiasm and enjoy like i do with FELT blaring in the background. I would also recommend Sam Knee's 2013 book, "A Scene In-between"
